Limit a VPS reseller to one server
KLYRN VM can hold a reseller to an amount of memory, disk and addresses, and to the servers you choose. Here is how it works.
A reseller buys capacity from you and sells machines to their own customers. Until now KLYRN VM limited how much a reseller could use. From version 1.1.21 it also limits where.
An amount
Open the reseller and type what they may use. For example 32 GiB of memory, 200 GiB of disk and 4 IPv4 addresses. Leave a box empty for no limit.
A place
Then choose where they may build. Pick a location, or single servers inside it. A reseller held to your server in Tel Aviv cannot open a machine in Frankfurt, and Frankfurt is not offered when they create one.
What happens at the limit
A machine that would pass the allowance is refused before anything is built, and the message gives the figures. Making a machine larger counts too. A machine that is already running is never stopped by a limit.
The reseller guide has the steps, and the Resellers page shows the screens.
